Tide Health and Performance (“Tide,” “we,” “us”) provides medically supervised GLP-1 care and related digital tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal and health information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
We do not sell your personal or health information.
Where you connect a Google account, our tools may access your Gmail solely to send email on your behalf at your direction (for example, partnership outreach you compose and send). Tide’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide the feature, comply with the law, or with your consent.
We use trusted providers to operate our services, including cloud hosting and database services (with Canadian data residency for health information where applicable), site hosting, and AI services used in a privacy-minimising way. These providers process information only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
Patient health information is stored in Canada. We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and other safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of material breaches as required by law.
We keep personal and health information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw consent for certain uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
